Description

Harry "Harry The Dirty Dog" is back and more fashion-conscious than ever. After receiving a comfy, but rose-covered, sweater from Grandma, Harry determines to lose it. He tries leaving it all over town, but it is always returned - until a bird catches sight of a loose thread and Harry's luck finally changes.

Reviews

AudioFile Magazine...
Have you ever wondered what a dog might think about the sweater or coat that an owner puts on a pet? Let Harry (of HARRY THE DIRTY DOG fame) tell you. When Grandma sends Harry a birthday sweater knitted with roses, Harry is not pleased. Could he possibly lose the sweater and still be in Grandma's good graces when she comes for a visit? Bruce Johnson paces the story to pack its punch and heighten the fun of its illustrations. Zippy music and a dog chorus complete this read-along recording. A.R. (c) AudioFile 2005, Portland, Maine
